Global Day of Purpose
Held during WOLVER1NE WEEK each year, the Global Day of Purpose rallies Wolverine employees across the globe to come together and serve the communities where they live and work.
Healthy Lives & Outdoors
Teams led hiking and clean-up events, partnered with parks, and promoted outdoor wellness.
Diversifying Trades & Talent
Volunteer mentors hosted workshops and career panels for aspiring professionals from underrepresented groups.
Industry & Community Giving
Employees distributed footwear and essentials, supported shelters, and partnered with regional nonprofits.
Community Initiatives
Partnering with Moo Canoes, the Sweaty Betty Social Committee grabbed their kayaks, canoes and paddleboards and hit the water for a series of canal litter-picking sessions in London.
Chaco launched a collection of sandals inspired by Camp Brave Trails, a non-profit organization and leadership-focused summer camp for LGBTQ+ youth and their families. Chaco donated 10% of sales from the collection to Brave Trails to support its mission.
Wolverine highlighted women in skilled trades and partnered with Girls Garage to inspire the next generation of builders.

A path toward lower impact
We are dedicated to protecting the outdoor spaces that inspire our work by managing the environmental impact of our operations and supply chain. Through collaboration with our brands and partners, we strive to promote energy efficiency, responsible waste management, sustainable packaging initiatives and reduce our overall carbon footprint.
Climate
We recognize the importance of addressing climate impacts across our operations and supply chain. In an ongoing effort to further understand the Company’s climate footprint and advance our approach to managing climate-related risks and opportunities, we annually measure and report on our greenhouse gas emissions in line with the GHG Protocol.
Energy
In an ongoing effort to reduce our energy consumption, we monitor and assess energy used at each of our facilities globally to prioritize efficiencies and explore further opportunities for better energy utilization.
Each year since 2015 we have purchased enough Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) to offset electricity used at our North American facilities, helping to reduce our Scope 1 and 2 emissions.
Waste and Recycling
To aid in waste reduction efforts, we have a robust recycling program at each of our facilities worldwide to help manage our footprint and reduce our environmental impact. Our brands are consistently exploring ways to reduce waste in landfills through sample reduction, repair and take-back programs.
Packaging
We recognize that sustainable packaging plays a critical role in minimizing our environmental footprint and conserving natural resources. We prioritize post-consumer recycled paper for shoeboxes and other packaging and partner exclusively with FSC-certified packaging suppliers.
Our Global Impact Report highlights Wolverine’s ongoing commitment to sustainability efforts across our operations, demonstrating the progress that we have made and our goals for the future.

Our focus on responsible sourcing and traceability in the supply chain ensures that we prioritize safety, sustainability, and fair labor practices. Through strong partnerships with our suppliers, we drive continuous improvement and accountability to promote sustainable materials, foster ethical practices, and deliver products that respect people and the planet.
Summary Production Code of Conduct
We require all of our suppliers and factory partners to adhere to our Production Code of Conduct, which outlines the minimum standards that our partners must adhere to in conducting their operations, including working conditions, health and safety, ethics and commercial integrity.
We require manufacturing processes to minimize the adverse effects on the communities in which we operate and serve, the environment and natural resources, while safeguarding the health and safety of the public.
Human Rights
We are committed to working with supply chain partners that are dedicated to safe, humane and ethical working conditions that comply with international labor standards and local law.
We have a strict zero tolerance policy against forced labor, child labor, human trafficking, and slavery or involuntary work of any kind anywhere in our supply chain and prioritize safe working conditions for workers.
Sustainable Materials
Our material sourcing standards create a roadmap for our brands to embrace environmental stewardship, social responsibility and animal welfare. Best practices are established for our brands to embrace and incorporate preferred materials, such as the use of recycled and natural materials into our products.
As a part of Wolverine’s commitment to the highest standards of quality and safety in our products, we prohibit the use of certain chemicals and substances, including PFAS.
Supply Chain Transparency
To monitor compliance and drive continuous improvement, we routinely perform social compliance audits covering labor and human rights, working hours, safety, waste and water management, and other environmental compliance topics.
To help ensure supply chain transparency at every stage, we are working towards mapping our entire supply chain to gain real-time visibility, unify suppler data, and automate compliance and certification tracking.
