Wolverine World Wide, Inc., referred to collectively with its affiliated entities and portfolio of brands, as “Wolverine,” “we,” “us,” or “our”, takes data privacy seriously. This privacy policy (the “Policy”) describes: the types of information we collect about Suppliers to Wolverine how we use and share that information; and the choices you can make with respect to your personal information.

Personal Information We Collect Directly from You

You provide us with your personal information when you communicate with us:

  • by corresponding with us by email, or via other direct interactions with us (in person, over the phone or otherwise);
  • by completing the “Contact Us” form on our website;
  • by submitting promotional information to us (by email, phone or otherwise); and
  • when you attend an event, or an exhibition/trade fair that we have attended.

Personal Information Collected from other sources

We collect personal data about you through the following interactions:

  • when you provide it to us; or
  • by way of a referral from another supplier or industry specialist;
  • publicly available sources – for example, use such sources to help us keep the contact details we already hold for you accurate and up to date or for professional networking purposes, e.g. LinkedIn.

General Information

We collect personal information you choose to provide, which is likely to include:

  • basic personal details such as your name, job title, business or employer name;
  • contact data such as your telephone number and postal or email address;
  • information about you role or your business;
  • any other personal data relating to you that you may provide.

Business Owner Information

As part of our commitment to corporate social responsibility (which you can read more about here), we will ask whether the business you represent is owned by people from diverse backgrounds. If you are the business owner and you share this information we will process information about your educational background, ethnicity, sexuality and gender identity which is special category data.

Please do not submit information that you do not want us to have.

How we use your personal data

Who we share your personal data with

Within Wolverine’s corporate family

Wolverine will share your personal information with brands, subsidiaries and affiliates, and their agents and employees for a number of different reasons. For example, we may share your personal information to fulfil your requests, to ensure prompt payment of an invoice, to comply with law, and to enforce our rights.

Our affiliated companies and brands are part of our global business (full details on the location of our businesses can be found here). As such, your personal data might be transferred beyond the country in which you reside. Please note, Wolverine has put in place appropriate safeguards to ensure that the transfer of personal data originating in the UK and EEA may be lawfully shared with colleagues in the United States and other ‘third countries’ (as defined by the UK GDPR). Third Parties

We will share your personal data with a variety of the following third parties:

  • our insurers and insurance brokers;

How long we keep your personal data

We will retain your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which this data was collected and any other permitted linked purpose. If your personal data is used for multiple purposes we will retain it until the purpose with the latest period expires; but we will stop using it for the purpose with a shorter period once that period expires. Our retention periods are also based on our business needs and industry good practice.

What rights you have in relation to your personal data

  • provide you with further details on the use we make of your information;
